About

Meaghun Darab has been a Hillsborough resident since 2012. She was a manufacturing engineer for General Motors and has held part-time positions as a carpenter’s assistant, a certified pool operator and an upholsterer since moving to North Carolina. 

The Wisconsin native has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in manufacturing operations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In her free time, she enjoys sewing, knitting, reading fiction, practicing yoga, and undertaking large home renovation projects.

• Hillsborough Tourism Development Authority
• Hillsborough Water and Sewer Advisory Committee (rotation)
• Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Group (alternate)
• Upper Neuse River Basin Association
